Responder Wear is celebrating their second birthday and excited to share their accomplishments of 2022.
CELEBRATION
Happy second birthday to Responder Wear! We are incredibly grateful for the support of our loyal customers over the past year. It has been an exciting 12 months for us, filled with many accomplishments and milestones.
This year, we have made a significant impact in supporting those who protect and serve our communities. We partnered with Ukrainian volunteers in Sydney to provide trauma kits (IFAKs) to support the Ukrainian military, and continued to develop our trauma kit range, introducing many new life saving products that can be used by first responders and first aiders.
Our Responder Pack range continued to grow with new versions developed for the NSW State Emergency Service (SES) and NSW Marine Rescue. These medical kits contain the specialised first aid supplies needed in the unique environments these agencies work in. We also designed and manufactured new pouches and accessories for the Responder Pack range, including a glove pouch, admin pouch and an IV pouch that was developed with feedback from some of our keenest followers. Our Responder Pack is now being used right across Australia and has even been tested in Papua New Guinea!
We took some tentative steps in 2022 to provide our smaller first aid kits to retail stores in regional NSW, and our Snake Bite Kit is definitely our biggest seller! We look forward to extending our retail network in 2023 so that more people get access to our life saving gear.
In 2022, we continued our partnership with the Australian First Responder Foundation (AFRF) to support mental health in the first responder community. $10 from the sale of every Responder Pack was donated towards AFRF’s wellbeing retreats, so that volunteer First Responders had access to best-practice peer support and chaplaincy, and also a little bit of pampering after a tough couple of years!
Angus and I are incredible proud of all that we have accomplished and look forward to continuing to help you save lives in 2023.
